Just a few pictures of friends

This weekend we spent a lot of time with friends since we have such a sort time left. Friday night the girls took me out and the boys took Josh out, I had the camera so i was the only one with pictures. Sunday we went to Machano meeting (my old hall) getting to see some of our old friends. That evening we went bowling with some of the younger boys Josh always hangs out with.

these are some of the young ones and they have grown up so much since when i first came in 2008!

Our new address/house!

By the way our new address at our new house in Florida is:

3207  36the Ave. E.
Palmetto, Fl.  34221

But remember we won't be in Florida till April 3rd so please don't send anything there that you want us to see right away:)
Don't know if we have told everyone yet but we will be living near my parents in the same town and less then 10 minutes away from them. Dad got a place that we can stay in and make ours for the time being. Once there I will post pictures, especially before and after ones! So anyone who wants to come visit you have a place to visit-just give us a heads up first please!

We are getting very excited about coming back with about 2 weeks left only and living out of suitcases. But this past weekend with going to assembly and it being our last on Guam i think it started to hit us both about leaving and not being able to see people for a while. Thank goodness for email and skype so we can keep in touch and Guam won't feel so far away.

Assembly & Anniversary

This weekend we had our 2-day assembly and it was wonderful but a bit bittersweet since it will be our last. But we tried to get many pictures so here are some of them. i hope to post soon some of the local experiences that were shared on the assembly.

some of josh's close friends

the denmans who were in our hall but have been reassigned back to chuukese group and also just left bethel to become special pioneers! what a wonderful change.

remember jason & miki and their study from convention, the mom and oldest daughter (girl on far left and second in)are now unbaptized publishers and the older daughter is studying with the other 2 girls in the picture and they are coming to meetings.

if any of you have seen my pictures from when i was here before you might recognize these 2. they are the 2older girls of famil of 3 girls-they have gotten so big!

vela family

It was our anniversary yesterday-we made it through our first year! We booked a hotel room for two nights just to get away if that is possible on a small island:)but we had a lovely time.

A few nights ago I decided to surprise josh with a romantic dinner at the beach but he ended up better surprising me with getting to see the sunset from an amazing look out point on the island. the place is called two lovers point and there is a folklore tale behind it. Needless to say it is where many locals and tourists come to get married.
The last 2 pictures are from the next day when one of our friends had us all meet up to eat this huge burger that he and josh had eaten before. It is 2 full burgers put together with an egg and bacon-yes i know a heart attack and major stomach ache waiting to happen!

can you see the woman in the cliff?

tumon bay-where i used to work

uncle fred was the master mind behind this-most of us ended up sharing with someone

This weekend we once again have the Zone Visit. This means we get a few brothers from the Zone Committee that give encouraging talks at bethel and then for us at UOG Field House (where we hold our conventions) with local experiences, which will be fed live to the other islands so all in Micronesia can enjoy.

the girls were riding on the carts they use to move the stacked chairs on, needless to say i don't think they were supposed to be doing it:)

I will try to get more pictures tomorrow and post with the experience ect. we hear.

Yardsale

So we are going to have a yardsale February 18th for those of you who want to check out our stuff. It will be at Herb and Jazz's house. We are trying to get rid of most of our stuff so it will be a mix of furniture, clothes, kitchen stuff and other misc.

Also if anyone is looking for a car we are needing to sell ours so we can but one when we move.

If you are interested in any of our stuff and wanna get a sneak preview and get anything before yardsale give us a call. the less we have to drag to yardsale the better!

Thanks for being understanding of us moving and all the love and support this last year.
