We are finally getting into the swing of things with our schedules and things are slowing down just a bit. This past week I was able to go out late afternoon/evening witnessing after work and had a great time. It was one of those days where by the time work was almost over you just wanted to go home, but because you made plans (they were my ride), you kept to them. One of the dear sisters that does this sometimes for me also knows I don’t have much calls ye and would like a study, so she kindly gave me one of hers. Its of a high school girl who she hadn’t been able to catch much but had placed magazines and had some good conversations with. She had me share the bible teach book with her and set up to go back and start the book with the girl. The girl was very happy and said she will look forward to it, but that this month was end of school year so might not catch her much. I told her I would try when I could but that we after school was out maybe we could set something up at a specific time and she agreed. (This is why I came back to Guam). Also this dear sister has been trying to get me to meet another girl and start a study with her. The girl attended the memorial with her grandparents who are studying. She used to go to church regularly, but she said she was impressed with the memorial and that it really made sense, the understanding of Christ ransom. She also attended the special talk. So I am hoping that also works out.
This past weekend we got to hang out with a brother visiting from Palau. The young brother comes from time to time, and will be back for the district convention in July. He was able to share with me a little bit about the congregation there and also memorial. They have about 90 publishers he said and I believe he said they had around 210 for the memorial. For the special talk they had the same number and it was most of the ones that had come for the memorial! They have their talk on Sundays in I believe in Palauan (not sure on the spelling), and then they split so that English can also have their watchtower. He said there are a few Filipinos and Chinese witnesses on the island. So it is a nice mix there, and things seem to be doing well spiritually.
We went to Machanao meeting (my old hall) on Sunday to visit. They are so big! They have the Chuukese group with them. They said that the count was 74 Chuukese and 120 English! It’s so nice to see the language group flourishing.

Unfortunately, Tuesday night was the Nutters last meeting, a very tearful evening for the congregation. We did get some furniture off of them, which is definitely Jehovah providing for everyone. We look forward to having company over now, starting next weekend!
